Energy-contracting is a service-based concept providing a building or a multitude of buildings with heat, cold, and/or backup electricity from a centralised power plant.

Having no need to produce cold, heat or backup electricity on his own, the customer may concentrate on his core business. The consumed energy is metered, the customer only pays the variable costs for commodities.

The energy a building consumes is metered. This means that the customer only pays for the exact amount consumed (i.e. there is no energy waste, and therefore no unnecessary expenses).
